Eddy & Taylor Building

Famous architecture firm, David Baker Architects, designed this building which stands in the infamous Tenderloin neighborhood.

This district is known worldwide for having the largest collection of single room occupancy hotels. In the 1920s, before making it big, Academy Award winner, Frank Capra lived in the Drake Hotel as a starving young director. After the 1906 earthquake and fires, the Cadillac Hotel served as a training ground for Mohammed Ali and was also home to Jerry Garcia.
